Faith In Action: Communications

My favorite part is the clergy blog — usually a teaser of their thoughts for the Sunday sermon. It is fun to read what our pastors are thinking about on Monday, and then seeing how those thoughts develop into the sermon on Sunday. The FUMCFW Weekly is just one form of communication that our wonderful communications team orchestrates each week. Sometimes the vision of the old newspaper pressroom comes to mind as the deadline approaches with edits . . . proofing . . . fact checks . . . calendar updates . . . graphics/photos . . . layout — and all coming together within a few hours on Wednesdays before it is printed and emailed (printed and mailed to those without email capabilities, as well as to provide hard copies for the Welcome Center, Narthex, Wesley Hall, and Chapel on Sunday mornings). The constant updates to our website, flyers heralding upcoming programs, Sunday worship bulletins, banners, hallway posters and signage — well, the list is huge. Hats off to our entire communications team. Your giving to our church enables us to communicate the many wonderful happenings at our church with our members and visitors — as well as those who join online via live stream from around the world! Thank you for your faithful giving that supports the outstanding work and dedication of our communications team.
