Faith In Action: Making Your Monthly Gift by ACH

staff_Roger Partridge_150I’ve had a few questions lately about an easy way to make automatic monthly pledge payments or gifts to the church without using a credit card. The answer, I’m happy to say, is simple. When you set up a monthly ACH (Automated Clearing House) payment to our church, your payment will be automatically drafted from your checking account — and maximize its benefit to the church by reducing the fees charged by credit card processors. To set up an ACH payment, just submit a voided check along with the amount that you wish to have drafted each month to our business office; the church handles the rest. Your gift will be drafted on the 16th or 30th of each month and recorded on your giving statement. And best of all, making a change to your ACH payment is as easy as contacting the business office with your request. Being able to support the ministries of our church through regular monthly gifts is an important part of our Christian life. Whichever method you choose, please know that your gifts to our FUMCFW ministries are greatly appreciated by those we serve, and your spirit of generosity is reflected in the lives these ministries transform — including your own! Next week, we’ll explore the idea and process of making gifts with stock. Please contact me (rpartridge@myfumc.org) at 817/339-5098 if you have any questions about how to make a gift to our church.
