“Answering Angels: God’s Interruption”
Guest Speaker Rev. Brenda Brooks Alexander, Associate Pastor of Service at FUMCFW
Hannah Circle Hosting
We invite you to join us for our December luncheon with our special guest speaker, First Church’s new Associate Pastor of Service, Rev. Brenda Brooks Alexander. With our Advent theme “The Angels of Christmas” Pastor Brenda will explore what we do when angels show up and interrupt our daily routine. How do we move from a natural to a supernatural response? How do we handle the struggle to move forward?
Rev. Brenda is a graduate of SMU — Perkins School of Theology (MTS); Prairie View A & M University — Master of Educational Administration; and Paul Quinn College — Bachelor of Science English — Elementary Education. She has served in ministry and education for more than twenty-six years. She is a native of Dallas, Texas. A mother of one son and three bonus children: two daughters and a son. One grandson and blessed with greats and grandchildren through marital bliss. Rev. Brenda is married to the love of her life, hand-picked by God for the assignment, Apostle LC Alexander. Rev. Brenda continues to learn that God always has the last move and lives by the Apostle Paul’s words, “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns” (Philippians 1:6 – NLT).
December Fruit of the Spirit is Peace. “God is the one who makes us patient and cheerful. I pray that he will help you live at peace with each other, as you follow Christ.” Romans 15:5 (CEV)
Menu: Baby Spinach Salad, Baked Ham, Roasted Red Potatoes, Roasted Broccoli, Bakery Fresh Rolls and Brownie with Whipped Cream
