We’re Off to the Emerald Isle in 2018!

robert-stovall2As you may remember in recent weeks, I spoke about the incredible opportunity being presented for members of our Choral Union to travel to IRELAND! Well, it’s going to happen, folks. Members of this fantastic choir, along with spouses and friends, are going to Ireland June 25 through July 4 of 2018. We are also excited to join with choir members from St. Paul’s UMC of Amarillo and Deer Park UMC to create the TEXAS METHODIST CHORALE. The three choirs will join together in concert a minimum of three times while in Ireland. Plus, we will create relationships with our friends from the Panhandle and Houston areas as we travel through the country in our own coaches. The wonderful opportunity is that of sight-seeing through the rich green fields of the countryside and traveling to many of the historical towns, mainly located in the middle and western coast of this beautiful country. In committing to a minimum of 50 people we are able to offer you, our members, the opportunity to join us on this once-in-a-lifetime event. We will be staying in 4- and 5-star hotels, traveling in a charter bus, and enjoying the many scenic views and towns as well as the lifestyle of the Irish.

If you are interested in being a part of this wonderful event, traveling in our entourage, enjoying the beautiful country, and sharing with the Irish people, click here for details. Also, if you have any questions, you can certainly contact me (rstovall@myfumc.org).

There will be two packages. Option 1 includes airfare, while Option 2 will be a ground package for which you find your own airfare and perhaps use your air miles. Take a look at what we will offer in this proposed itinerary. There are several informational forms that you may look at as well. Please read them. There will be a $250 deposit due April 22, 2017, to secure your spot on this trip of a lifetime. Also, please apply for or renew your passport early to make sure it is up to date in time for the trip. If you have any questions, again, feel free to contact me.
