December 2nd

Is a BIG day for 2 reasons:

One:

It’s Christmas Cheer! This is the event where we meet in Wesley Hall, then board buses to go Christmas Carol at local nursing homes and retirement communities.
I recommend this VERY highly, especially for families who love to serve together. This is a perfect beginner outreach opportunity for young people.
After singing and visiting with residents, we come back to Wesley Hall for hot chocolate and cider, cookie decorating, carriage rides, and more.
2:30 – 5:30 pm.

Two:

It’s happening again.
We’re going to do it again.
The beginning of the 9:30 and 11:00 Sanctuary services on December 2 will feature a Nativity scene made up of our FUMCFW children.
There’s no rehearsal until the morning of the services.
So this is our “call for kids.” If you would like your child to be part of the Nativity scene, please let us know.
(If we need to find more crowns, halos, and shepherds’ crooks, so be it!)

Happy Monday,

Mark Burrows
Director of Children’s Ministries

BTW – Don’t forget our Christmas Eve Family services at 3:30 and 5:00 pm.

Candlelight, carols, communion, the great Story…and this year we honor the 200th anniversary of Silent Night.
