Choir Families,

First — I am SO pleased with yesterday’s rehearsal.

All the songs are memorized, and the kids are singing with TONS of heart!!!

Second — This is the BIG weekend for our musical.

Our Dress Rehearsal is Saturday, May 6, from 10:00 am – 2:30 pm in the Sanctuary

(pizza provided for lunch).

Don’t be fooled into thinking that’s a huge block of time and kids can just come and go.

We NEED all that time. Keep in mind, it’s our only chance to practice/stage the show.

(The Sanctuary’s kinda . . . um . . . in use during our normal rehearsal time.)

Third — Look, I know there are a lot of Saturday activities.

(I’ve spent more Saturdays down at the Benbrook soccer fields than I can count.)

But we’ve only got one of these. One. Please make this a priority.

Parents, we could still use a few volunteers to help with potty breaks, etc.

(If you can only give an hour or two, great!)

Sunday, May 7, Schedule:

8:30 am — Meet in the Sanctuary, costumed and ready to practice any last-minute things

9:30 am — Children First and Musical (note the earlier start time)

10:30 am — Immediately after the musical, BOTH choirs meet with dads/father figures to practice “The Tree Song”

11:00 am — Make our way to Macaluso’s for our Choir Celebration and Lunch

(The meal is free, but if you would like to make a contribution to offset costs, we welcome that.)
