Join Us Between Services For Connections

By January 21, 2016Welcoming Ministries

Lisa HelmIn response to the positive comments about the opportunity to visit with one another between our Christmas Eve services, beginning on February 14 our First Church family is going to have a new place to connect! Each Sunday between services, from 10:30 – 11:00 am, Wesley Hall will be set up and ready to offer members, visitors, and guests from all our different Sunday morning worship and study opportunities a chance to visit, grab a cup of coffee, and enjoy a Sunday morning treat. And when the warmer weather returns, we will open the doors to the Garden and enjoy the great outdoors together. Whether discussing the Sunday sermon, sharing thoughts on a spiritual concept, catching up on the most recent TCU game, or announcing a child or grandchild on the way (or sharing new photos of ones already here!), the opportunity to connect with one another between services is important to us as a faith community. People come to church to worship, but they also come to be part of a community of worshippers! And what better way to make visitors feel like part of our community than inviting them to this new opportunity to enjoy a casual visit? See you for Connections in Wesley Hall starting on Sunday, February 14, at 10:30 am!

Lisa Helm,
Director of Welcoming Ministries
