It is not a sprint to get into better health this year. It is one step at a time to meet your realistic goals. Many times we fail at our goals — not because we didn’t put in the effort, but because we started with a short-term goal that should be a long-term goal.
As I was running this weekend I was discussing the purpose of exercise with a fellow runner. Exercise is about moving and becoming healthy. The goal should not be about what we look like on the outside. It should be about what we look like on the inside.
