CONGREGATIONAL CARE MINISTERS

Lay persons, called Congregational Care Ministers (CCM’s), work with our Clergy to help meet the needs of our church family through:

  • Hospital visits & telephone calls
  • One-on-one support in times of illness or need
  • Support to grieving families
  • Proactive ways to encourage & care for people in our congregation
  • Communion to hospital bound or homebound members

This partnership between lay and clergy enables us to provide a greater level of care to our church family. Congregational Care Ministers meet regularly as a team and with their Congregational Care Pastor for supervision and assignments.

Contact: Rev. Phyllis McDougal (pmcdougal@myfumc.org) at 817/339-5082
