Ash Wednesday – Sacred Spaces

Spread the word about this special opportunity, and come join us this Wednesday for:

Ash Wednesday – Sacred Spaces

“Sacred Spaces” is an Ash Wednesday opportunity for a variety of devotional and meditational experiences.

This year it will be held in three locations: Wesley Hall, the Sanctuary, and the Narthex.

Since our two Ash Wednesday services will be in the Sanctuary at noon and 7:00 pm, the three “Sacred Spaces” locations will be especially conducive for those who participate before or after worship.

Sacred Spaces will be available in the following time blocks:

7:30 – 11:45 am

1:00 – 2:00 pm

5:00 – 6:45 pm

and 8:00 – 9:00 pm

Our goal is to offer experiences designed for as much or as little time as individual schedules allow.

May you experience the depth of God’s love and guidance

as you begin this Holy Season of Lent…

Check out today’s wonderful reflection below on this Season of Lent by our First 7th minister, Lance Marshall:

At its core, Lent to me isn’t about sacrifice. It’s about focus. In church history, Lent has traditionally been a time of preparation for new believers. A time to reflect, to gaze deeply upon your own soul and realize how deeply you need Jesus. Culminating with baptism, Lent is a time to focus our lives on God.
