All Women of FUMCFW — Join Us for UMW Service Saturday!

United Methodist Women (UMW) invite all the women of FUMCFW to join them for UMW Service Saturday benefiting the Methodist Justice Ministry

Methodist Justice Ministry provides light and hope to families who have experienced neglect and domestic violence by providing free legal representation and ongoing support to ensure the children are with a caring and protective caregiver. By combining the power of the courts and strength of available resources, MJM follows careful and crucial legal work and free legal representation with equally essential counseling and financial assistance to help our clients find ways to meet social, emotional, spiritual, and financial needs.

Mission of the Methodist Justice Ministry

UMW Service Saturday is an opportunity to help sprinkle a little magic this holiday season to the children who are part of the MJM family. Many of these kids have never experienced a Christmas morning filled with the excitement of opening gifts. UMW invites you to join them on Saturday, November 6, from 10 am-noon in the Justin Building (at the church) to stuff stockings that MJM will give to these kids so they can experience the true magic of the season.

So if you’re ready to spend the morning seeing your friends, (and making some new ones!) as well as serving the MJM, please join us. Lunches from the Lunch Box will be provided for $10 and childcare is available. In order to plan for seating, lunches and childcare, registration by November 1 is required. Click here (scroll to bottom of the page) to register to attend. For childcare reservations, email Paula Wagstaff ( by November 1.

Can’t be there that day, but still want to help? Here’s how:
