Hello friends!

Thanks to all of you who shared the Gathering with your friends online. We had 428 different devices log in to worship online with us on Sunday, and registrations show that many devices were watched by multiple people. Even a conservative estimate would guess we had well over 600 worshiping together at the Gathering, making it our most attended service ever. In retrospect, it’s not a huge surprise that so many of us were drawn to the light of the Gospel during this strange and scary time. The regular rhythms of our everyday lives make it easy for us to get distracted by the ordinary – times such as these draw our attention back to what really matters.

I know things are changing rapidly in all our lives, workplaces, and school. To help provide a little stability, I will start a new online Daily Devotional and Prayer meeting. Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 9:15 am, I will host a brief time of scripture, devotional reading, and prayer. Here is how to participate:

It’s nothing fancy, just a chance for us to gather together in scripture, in prayer, and in the proclamation that God is great, even when times are trying.
