Message from NHS President, Boyd Holland
As I wind down my term as your President, looking back, a few things come to mind. For my personal experience, I’ve learned to practice patience, tact, leadership, persuasion, personal time and volunteerism, in a Christian context. These are qualities that I don’t think about on a daily basis and don’t possess naturally; however, being President has given me challenges and a sense of accomplishment.
I’ve enjoyed working with the Board Members who all do an important job. VP-Gail Carter, Social-Linda Chaney & Geneva Billue, Service-Beverly Stevens, Treasurer-Craig Young, Hospitality & Devotions-Sherry Walter, Membership-Dorothy Casteel, Recording Secretary-Karen Shultz, Correspondence-Karen Williams.
I’m telling you this because our elections are in a month, with nominations starting soon. Let’s pray for class members to step up and run for an office. I’ve enjoyed being President. It doesn’t take a professional to do it. Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can.
Thank you for your support and God bless you.
