“What’s on Your Mind in this New Year?”
Dr. Tim Bruster, Senior Pastor
Dear Friends,
What’s on your mind as we enter this New Year? When the distractions are set aside and quiet sets in, what are you thinking about? When you’re doing something routine, to what do your thoughts turn? Do your thoughts turn toward the positive or the negative? When automatically assessing people and experiences, do you have an open, accepting attitude looking for the good, or do you have a critical spirit, focusing on the problems and faults?

KEN MEDEMA VISITS FUMCFW!
Children First | 9:45 | Sanctuary
eleven:eleven | 11:11 am | Wesley Hall
Since the hallowed days of the eight-track, blind best-selling singer songwriter Ken Medema has been dazzling his audiences with his genius for creating story songs with a deeper message that drills to the heart of the experience.
For more than 40 years, Ken has shared his passion for learning and discovery through storytelling and music with an ever-growing circle of followers around the world in venues including churches, conventions, colleges, corporations and more, for groups from 50 to 50,000 people. Though blind from birth, Ken sees and hears with heart and mind, singing stories from his audience and accenting specific themes and perspectives in custom-designed, improvisational musical moments that create new compositions to bring each story to life.
Ken will be kicking off this “Higher Hopes” series with a personal visit to eleven:eleven celebration and Children First on Sunday January 5. Be sure to catch one or both of these unforgettable experiences to start your new year with higher hopes.
